Lower Kitchen Units

This will allow you to use the appliances in your Kitchen and the existing units from a wheelchair. The surface and units are lowered so that they are accessible from the wheelchair.

Electrical Sockets

The electrical sockets may be raised / lowered to allow for easy reaching.

Raising Floor

If you have to step down to the kitchen, the floor can be raised to be even with the normal hall floor.

Taps

The taps can be changed on the sink to lever action so that they do not have to be gripped/held to turn. So for instance they can be turned on and off by elbow, arm, leg and so forth, they can also be wider to help with gripping.

Non-Slip Flooring

This is flooring that does not become slippery when wet. There is a wide range available from most flooring suppliers.
