Disabled Elevators Do it Yourself Tips for Handicapped Access

Internal Elevator

This is a lift that will elevate from the ground floor to the first floor (ie Lounge to Bedroom). Your Occupational Therapist will advise you where best to place the lift.

External Elevators

Sometimes there isn't enough room to build a concrete ramp, so next to the stairs and lift is installed to raise you to the front door and lower you to the ground.

Stair Elevators

This is a lift that will take you up and down the stairs.
