Are there any patches of pointing, weathering and degrading?

Are there any brick spalling or eroding?

Are there any cracks in the arches above any openings or elsewhere?

Are all airbricks clear and free from debris allowing air to circulate below floors and in rooms?

Windows and doors

If you have timber windows, when were they last painted? (They should be repainted about every 5 years).

Is there any rot on the windows?

Do the windows stick or jam?

Is the putty around the glass broken, cracked or missing?

Are the cills in good condition or is there any rotten wood that needs to be cut out?
